About this Help System

This help system includes several features that allows for the easy access, navigation, and searchability of help information.

Help System Tabs

Use the tabs in the left panel of the help system window to view and search help information.

Contents

The [Contents] tab organizes help information into books that can be expanded and collapsed. Each page in the book represents a help topic. When you double-click a closed book, it opens to display its topic pages, and when you double-click an open book, it closes. Selected topics are viewed in the right panel.

Index

The [Index] tab lists the keywords and keyword phrases associated with help system topics. Open the topic page that contains the keyword(s) as follows:

NOTE:  A Topics Found form will appear if the keyword is found in more than one topic. Highlight the topic of interest and click [Display] to navigate to the page.

Search

The [Search] tab allows you to search for specific words in the help system:

Browse Sequences

NOTE:  The Back and Forward buttons in the help system are not the same as the browse sequence buttons. [Previous] and [Next] move you through the system in a specific help topic order, whereas [Back] and [Forward] navigate you through the history of topics that you have visited.

Browse sequences are a convenient way to sequentially navigate through the topics in a help system. Located near the top middle of the help system window, these two buttons move you through the help topics as follows:

Print Help Topics

NOTE:  Print options are determined by your version of Internet Explorer.

Print help information directly from the help system window as follows:

  1. Highlight the topic or book of interest.

  2. From the upper help system panel, click [Print].

  3. The Print Topics form appears:
