RentMaster™ maximizes your ability to organize and manage your inventory. You can mark inventory items as available or not available for rent, you can generate a printable report of product availability by time and quantity, and you can generate a printable report of orders containing a specified inventory item (see Generate Inventory Reports). Products in for-sale categories and subcategories are automatically removed from the system when sold.
From the Main Menu, click [Inventory] > Show Inventory. The [Inventory] tab appears.
Click [New
Inventory Item] at the bottom of the program window. The Add Inventory
Item form appears.

Fill in the rest of the Add Inventory Item form as required. Pay special attention to the following:
Enter a unique identifier for the product in the Inventory # field, or allow RentMaster™ to automatically generate an identifier for you. If you have inventory in the system, then RentMaster™ will automatically add an increment of "1" to the last inventory item added. For example, if the code of the previously entered product was "FA01," then RentMaster™ will automatically apply a code of "FA02" to the newly entered inventory item
By default, every inventory item is marked as available for rent. If you do not want an inventory item to be available for rent, then click to un-check the Available for Rent checkbox in the Status field.
