RentMaster™ is pre-configured with sample data to assist you in learning how to use and set-up the program. Navigate through RentMaster™ to view how the sample data is configured and integrated into the various sections of the program. The following example illustrates how an individual product is entered, organized, and managed in RentMaster™.
From the Main Menu, click [Inventory] > Show Inventory. The product and inventory management tabs appear.
Click the [Products]
tab. Note how each product is organized into categories and/or subcategories.
Click the
to the left of "Category : Furniture:Tables:Adult."
Select the product "Table for 6." Click [Edit Product] at the bottom of the program window.
The Product Information form appears. Note the kind of product information entered for "Table for 6." Click [OK] to exit the form.

Note the inventory information for the product "Table for 6."
Select the product "Table for 6." Click [Edit Inv. Item] at the bottom of the program window.
The Edit Inventory Item form appears. Note the kind of inventory information entered for the product "Table for 6." Click [OK] to exit the form.
Click the [Sets] tab. Click the set name "Small Party." Product information for the set appears in the bottom window. Note that the product "Table for 6" is available on its own and as part of a product set for small parties.
Click [Close] in the bottom right of the program window to close the product and inventory management section.
Navigate through the remaining sections of RentMaster™ to view sample quotes, orders, customers, and more. If necessary, use the sample diagram and section overview in RentMaster™ Interface and Overview to guide you. When complete, use the instructions in Delete Sample Data to remove the sample data before entering your own.
